Background

After successfully establishing the landmark business plan competition in Thailand, Bangkok Business Challenge® 2002, Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University and Krungthep Turakij, Thailand leading business newspaper, are determined to continue co-hosting Thailand's first and only business plan competition for a second year. This competition will not only raise the standard of higher education for all the business schools that participate, but will also help graduate students evolve into entrepreneurs of the future.

Bangkok Business Challenge® 2002 not only brought together Thai graduate business schools for the first time, but also triggered an atmosphere of entrepreneurship and encouraged students to apply the theories learned in class to the real world. Some of the best projects pitched at Bangkok Business Challenge® 2002 have already attracted attention from venture capitalists and private investors, and are in an advanced stage of negotiations.

As a result of the success of Bangkok Business Challenge® 2002, Sasin and Krungthep Turakij are taking the initiative to set up Bangkok Business Challenge® 2003. We hope that these events will create an atmosphere of entrepreneurship among graduate students of business administration programs for years to come.
