BACKGROUND

In its third year, Bangkok Business Challenge® has continued to evolve as a leading academic event and Thailand 's most renowned business plan competition.

Co-hosted by Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University and Krungthep Turakij, Thailand’s leading business newspaper, Bangkok Business Challenge® encourages graduate students to act on their talent and ideas in creating tomorrow’s leading firms. Moreover, H.M. the King’s Award Business Plan Competition, the most prestigious award in any business plan competition, will be presented to the winners of this competition.

During this year long competition and intense educational experience, graduate students will receive feedbacks from experts, attend workshops and vie for a shot in the suspenseful finals to compete before a panel of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, business people and other professionals from their respective fields. By tying together conceptual classroom learning with writing a business plan in a real world setting, Bangkok Business Challenge® will not only raise the standard of higher education for all the business schools that participate, but also help graduate students evolve into entrepreneurs of the future.

As a result of the success of Bangkok Business Challenge®, Sasin and Krungthep Turakij are taking the initiative to set up Bangkok Business Challenge® 2004. We hope that these events will create an atmosphere of entrepreneurship among graduate students of business administration programs for years to come.
