Announcement

As the period for submitting qualifying teams' full business plans drew to a close on Friday, February 8th, 2008, it has come to our attention that 2 teams have failed to submit the required documents and thus have effectively relinguished their rights to participate further in the competition.

The competition's official rules, section VII.1, states that "If, after this public announcement and draw, any of the 16 First Round teams relinquish their right to participate further in the competition, the organizer reserves the right to invite the next best qualifying round team(s) to fill up the vacancy and give such teams until February 15, 2008 or at least 7 days from the time such teams are notified to submit their Written Business Plan."

Te organizers are delighted to report that both the two "next best" qualifying round teams have already accepted the invitation to participate further in the competition. Such teams directly replace the originally-qualified teams in the First Round groups. The change in teams line-up for the presentation rounds in Bangkok is already reflected at http://www.bbc.in.th/team_list.php
